The German charity Home of Hope - Help for Nepal runs a children's home in Kathmandu. It supports more than 150 children and young adults from the age of four until their independence.
The school graduates, university students and trainees are living on their own in a shared apartment. The organisation furthermore fosters other projects, such as paying the tuition fees for 50 children. After the severe earthquakes in 2015 the organisation was able to provide emergency aid such as food and tents for some of the earthquake victims.
We want the best for our children in all aspects of life. Accordingly, we want them to stay healthy, feel secure and loved - on a mental, emotional and educational basis.
The organisation was founded in 1998 fostering 14 children. Today more than 200 children are supported.
A lot of the children are still in need of a sponsor. An individual sponsorship is possible for as little as 30€ per month.
Alternatively, you can support us by making a single donation to cover for all the arising needs and the continuously increasing cost of living.
